Pinking Shears Press is a creative offshoot of 100 Acts of Sewing. Started by Sonya Philip in 2025 with a focus on traditional crafts, it takes its name from the specialty scissors that cuts saw tooth notches on seam edges to prevent fraying.

The press produces limited edition zines, broadsides and posters in a variety of printmaking processes. All work is printed by hand in San Francisco.
